Location: The first session of New Energy World Symposium will be held at Stockholm City Conference Center, Barnhusgatan 12-14 in central Stockholm, Sweden.
Travelling: The two main airports of Stockholm are Arlanda (ARN), 20 minutes from the city by high-speed train shuttle, and Skavsta (NYO), 80 minutes from the city by bus shuttle.
Hotel booking: We advise you to book a hotel or other accommodation near the city center. Websites such as Hotels.com and Booking.com for hotels, and Airbnb.com for rooms and apartments, might be useful to find different options. Shortly we will also provide two or three recommended hotels here, close to the conference venue.
Local transport: Stockholm has an excellent transportation system with buses, trams, and subway. Trip planner and information about fares and tickets can be found at sl.se. Please make sure to check how to buy tickets since the transport ticket system is based on electronic cards and no single tickets are sold on buses, only at subway stations.
Tourist information: For information on tourist attractions, events, sightseeing, sustainable shopping, parks, museums, and more, please visit Stockholm’s official website—VisitStockholm.com.
Community: Communication between delegates will be made through the symposium’s space at Slack.com, where delegates also will be able to create their own groups.
